Does anyone know if rental car companies are offering deals now due to the low gas prices and skyrocketing airline prices?

Saw this today at DIGG (http://digg.com/autos/Enterprise_Car_Rentals_On_the_Rise), not sure if it is significant.

It seems like the codes I've seen have been for the usual amounts, $25 off a weekly or a free day etc.. Nothing really extra. But I have heard that they seem to be accepting low bids from people through Priceline.
